Friends

After being so very lucky to not only be juried into the 49th Annual Juried Exhibition at the Hardy Gallery, I am very grateful to have received a Juror's Award, one of five First Place Ribbons given by the five judges that juried the show (one each). But what I am most appreciative for is the friendship of painters that I have met in this journey to reinvent my life. That is really what I will remember this painting for. Thanks!

My Vision

Nature is more beautiful than I can make up.   Painting has allowed me to really see and enjoy nature.  John Carlson once said, “It is a curious fact that out-of-doors, nature is to the beginner an enormously overloaded room."
My mind is overloaded!!!!! 

The flow of creativity,  learning, and beauty is enormous.   But somehow it also gives insight, inspiration, and appreciation to be shared through painting.   Painting provides all the emotions and mental challenges that life needs.  However,,,,,,,,,, I find there is the fine line between a wonderful painting and insanity.
